So Biore sunscreens have been pretty much my holy grail SPF for a couple of years and I’m on my umpteenth repurchase already. I can’t stand sunscreens that leave a white cast or are thick and sticky, so while Biore ones can be drying with their high alcohol content, I’ll take that quick absorption over a heavy application any day, yo. Then I make up for it with more hydrating steps within my routine. Since the day I’ve discovered Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence, I’ve never looked back.
But recently I’ve been wishing for a sunscreen mist to touch up on my SPF during the day. The thought of slathering sunscreen on my made up face every two hours make me want to burn myself, but then again, without reapplication, I might literally be burning myself anyways. So, a lightweight, high-protection sunscreen spray is just what I need.
And Biore answered my damn prayers. God, I love this brand so much. Their makeup removers are amazing too!
This is stated as an limited edition item from Japan on RatzillaCosme, and quite recently launched in Singapore. I first saw this early last week during my weekly Watson’s run (don’t judge) but it was out of stock. I got so impatient for it I went back the next day and they had it! #kiasuwins
I know, I know it’s so bad for the environment but I ADORE aerosol cans. The mist that aerosol cans emit just can’t be beat, and I have stopped
being suckered into buying mists that come in normal sprays – other than the luxurious Caudalie Elixir, of course. It’s small and great for travel, fits well in most handbags too. And that pastel blue is so pretty!
Light floral. Doesn’t bother, doesn’t linger.
Shake well before misting 15cm away from face/body. I am quite baffled by this because even though I feel a fine mist descending on my skin like microscopic snowflakes on the verge of melting, there seems to be nothing left on my skin once I stop misting!
It is stated this is supposed to feel and look invisible, but I’m not really sure how that’s possible. I kept misting over and over again because I can’t feel anything there. It’s really quite baffling. However, I just ordered a UV meter from Amazon, and I’m hoping to test if this is a ~*~*MIRACLE~*~* or if I just paid ten bucks for a can of air.
Uh, I totally didn’t get overexcited and grab two cans off the rack (Sigh…) However, if this shit proves to provide efficient sun protection after testing, I’ll get a damn carton of this. It is so light, it really doesn’t feel like there’s anything on your skin. This could be a real game changer for the sunscreen industry.
